MERV GRIFFIN SHOW: GOLDEN GIRLS CAST (11/5/85)

Merv welcomes the cast of the popular NBC sitcom “The Golden Girls” about four mature women living together in Miami and experiencing the joys and angst of their golden years. The cast includes Bea Arthur (“Maude”) who plays strong-willed Dorothy, Betty White (“The Mary Tyler Moore Show”) as the spacey Rose, lusty Southern belle Blanche (Rue McClanahan of “Maude”) and matriarch Sophia, Dorothy's mom (Estelle Getty), occasionally clash but are there for one another in the end.
