THE JERRY LEWIS SHOW (NBC 1967-1969)
$ 9.95
The great comedian actor Jerry Lewis starred in this hour-long variety series. This single disc contains two full-length hour long episodes from the series.
Broadcast from 1967 – In this episode Jerry plays “Sidney,” a bumbling oaf trying to “make the scene” at a swinging singles apartment house. Jerry does a spy spoof with Lynn Redgrave and Harold “Odd Job” Sakata. Musical guests: Sonny and Cher, The Baja Marimba Band.
Broadcast from 1968 – Jerry Lewis sings, dances, mugs, mimes, goes wild and (in short) acts like Jerry Lewis! Helen Traubel sings while Jerry clowns around, which cracks her up. Gary Lewis announces they are leaving show business and gives his farewell performance. Little Ronnie sings very badly. Lionel Hampton performs on the drums but gets very little time because the show runs over causing the show to close prematurely.
