Led by the tough yet compassionate Lt. Sgt. “Deacon” Kay (Rod Perry) was the observer and communicator, Officer Jim (Robert Urich) the team scout, Officer Dominic Luca (Mark Shera) the marksman, and Officer T.J. McCabe (James Coleman) the backup. Together, they face off against armed robbers, kidnappers, and terrorists in a gritty urban battlefield, where every second counts, and failure isn’t an option.
Packed with thrilling action sequences, compelling characters, and the iconic theme song that became a 1970s sensation, S.W.A.T. delivers an unforgettable viewing experience. This complete collection features all episodes from the original series, showcasing the tension, teamwork, and triumphs that made S.W.A.T. a fan favorite and a cultural phenomenon.
S.W.A.T. was filmed in Southern California and based loosely on real-life S.W.A.T. teams formed in several large American cities.
Lock and load for classic crime drama at its best—this is S.W.A.T.!
Note: This set does not include the series pilot, which aired as a two-part episode on The Rookies during its third season. Titled "S.W.A.T.", it only aired one time on February 17, 1975. Subsequently, it was never made part of the syndicated TV rerun package for either series as Spelling-Goldberg decided it might confuse viewers as to which TV show it belonged. Both parts of the S.W.A.T. pilot are now considered "lost". If anyone has a copy of this two-parter, please contact us at Rewatch.
