Hosted by actor Edward G. Robinson. This promotional film, produced in part by the Walt Disney Organization and directed by Jim Fletcher, looks at the proposed Hollywood History Museum that was never built for the purpose of housing archival film prints, sound recordings, and a preservation room. 

Each of the sections of the museum are discussed through conception paintings, film clips and the voice talents of Lucille Ball, Jack Benny, Edgar Bergen, Nat King Cole, Charles Correll, Bing Crosby, Bette Davis, Doris Day, Freeman Gosden, Bob Hope, Art Linkletter, Charlie McCarthy, Gregory Peck, Mary Pickford, Dinah Shore, Gloria Swanson, Ed Wynn. 

Original Disney animation was created especially for this special featuring Mickey Mouse discussing the animation exhibit. Clips of Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Hanna-Barbera’s Yogi Bear and Mr. Magoo are featured.

This DVD is a must have for all Disney collectors and Hollywood history buffs.
