When an aspiring surgeon, Dr Lauren Brunell (Candace Cameron Bure), is turned down for a prestigious fellowship she planned for, she unexpectedly takes a temporary position working as a GP in a small remote Alaskan town of Garland in an effort to boost her resume.

Thankfully, Andy Holliday (David O'Donnel) and his jolly white-bearded father (Brian Doyle-Murray) are there to help her adjust and soon she warms to the friendly town and it's cast of characters, but suspects the town is hiding one big holiday secret.

Also stars Robert Pine, Kendra Mylnechuk, Joyce Cohen and Page Petrucka.
